waiting for the hammer to fall

I feel dirty.

PokerStars Game #5835464233: Hold'em No Limit ($0.10/$0.25) - 2006/08/07 - 20:51:26 (ET)
Table 'Algebar' 6-max Seat #5 is the button
Seat 1: 23skidoo ($24.25 in chips)
Seat 2: MICHOLE ($5.80 in chips)
Seat 3: izzy101 ($18 in chips)
Seat 4: daniela249 ($25.45 in chips)
Seat 5: 2and7 ($11.70 in chips)
Seat 6: KipperGuts ($19.35 in chips)
KipperGuts: posts small blind $0.10
23skidoo: posts big blind $0.25
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to 23skidoo [2d 7s]
MICHOLE: raises $0.25 to $0.50
izzy101: folds
daniela249: folds
2and7: folds
KipperGuts: calls $0.40
23skidoo: calls $0.25
*** FLOP *** [9d 3d As]

I cold call the 27 planning on betting the flop and ouplaying the raiser.
I was relatively new to the table, but hadnt played a hand.

KipperGuts: bets $0.25
23skidoo: raises $0.75 to $1
MICHOLE: calls $1
KipperGuts: calls $0.75
*** TURN *** [9d 3d As] [Qd]

Didn't work so goot, but I can still represent two high diamonds for a scare bet.

KipperGuts: bets $0.25
23skidoo: raises $3.75 to $4
MICHOLE: calls $4
KipperGuts: folds
*** RIVER *** [9d 3d As Qd] [7d]

So I'm sure I'm dead now, but at least I caught a flush. I have to call, just to show the hammer.

23skidoo: checks
MICHOLE: bets $0.30 and is all-in
23skidoo: calls $0.30

Woot, Michole played the nines horribly and let me catch bottom flush woot. Why wouldn't you reraise the turn bet with a set? wow.

*** SHOW DOWN ***
MICHOLE: shows [9h 9c] (three of a kind, Nines)
23skidoo: shows [2d 7s] (a flush, Queen high)
23skidoo collected $12.75 from pot

because the re-raise would have only been 30 cents? I hear you though! Good luck with the move and hope your back gets better.

Nice play. I found the hand is easier to follow like this:
