Welcome to my world ...

Other than perhaps a bigger raise pre-flop..... you can't do much here. It's 2-outer magic and just a tough break.

That is so evil that Michael Craig is in cahoots with Fuel! Fuel is a cooler. lol

i'm with kaja. one of my leaks is not three betting high enough -- you obv want him in this hand with you, but he literally can't fold any two cards to your raise -- he's totally priced in. also, you didn't include the other people in your hand -- were the blinds already out? so he sucked out a 5, nothing you can do there, but i am gonna try to raise a little more there.

I hate K-K !

There's just no way to play them right all the time.

Presto is Gold for Michael Craig = LOL! I know it's at your expense, but still... LOL !

Great to see you last night Ski !
Always a pleasure.

Five comments and yet I still have to be the one to point out that there was no suckout here? Money went it when you were behind.

There is really only one way to avoid going broke here, and LJ hit it on the nose. Raise like a man with the Kings and make 55 lay it down. Now given the way I've seen Michael Craig play, he might have called you even if you pushed allin preflop. But it was your best chance. As was pointed out above, once he is in there for 1500 chips, he has all the odds in the world to set mine for another 2100 and won't lay down any pocket pair, so then you force yourself to be in a situation where you have to push on any non-Ace flop and are simply at the whim of luck as to whether or not you get fawked by the flopped set.

Sucky hand man, hate seeing this happen to good people.

Thanks for the comments!

Now that I've calmed down and can analyze the hand, I see that my RR amount is a bit low given the stack sizes.

I just really felt good about my play in both tourney's last night and I lost them when I had a nice stack going and I failed to have a plan.

I have played with Michael Craig as well and I believe my fate is sealed anyhow I play it.
